28th November (Tue)

The day I woke up at 5.30 am.... even earlier then normal school days. I met the councillors at 7 with the other graduated councillors in sch. We were going for a canoeing expedition around Ubin or some island la. So they pair the seniors with a junior. Mine at first was a sec 1 malay girl. But in the end they swap partners and i got Miss Korea!! Lol... she's fast. But in the end she got sick!! Poor thing. Anyway canoed for 12-15km... stoped somewhere on Ubin for a quick lunch. We crossed 2 channels... actually to and fro... but hell crossing the channel was tiring... waves at every side. But overall it was fun and there's a lot of learning to it.

Learning:

-Canoeing in pairs requires a lot of coordination.

If the front person wants to paddle left... but the back wants to paddle right, will the boat move? NO. So basically talking about Effective Communication.

-Know where you are heading.

You have to coordinate to sometimes paddle harder on left to go right, and vice versa. For the boat will never go straight.

Also it was farewell night for Miss Foo. She didn't cry of course... didn't manage to talk to her.

Went home to sleep.

29th (Wed)

Woke up... body ached like mad. Wore pink for the first time in my entire 17+ years. It was the Council T for the year 2007... celebrating the 10th anniversary of Council... so got special edition colour of the Council T. Pink, MTT said, was to challenge mindset. Don the pink and walked to the bus stop and boarded the bus. Man i ignored stares after stares... felt very awkward... i mean pink!! hello? Hey at least a person said I look good in that pink Council T... But after that i felt alright coz the whole Council wore the Pink Council T. And we headed to Marina Square's Seoul Garden.

A Pink river flooded Marina Square, and finally formed up into a lake in Seoul Garden. It was embarrassing... we were like gold fishes in an aquarium where everyone was looking.

And then headed back for Sec 4 farewell... and sec 5.. yes, me.
