Teachers' Day celebration... started my day by helping Teo carry drinks and ice from the back of the canteen to the front... with Gan, Ding and Mit (volunteered). Stacked... poured... mopped!! Then we slack around the staircase... Teo called us and help me again with report book... put the result slip in... after that slack in the room... while 'beating' Kumar up... haha. Kumar....
Concert was on... Danilow was bad man... Encore encore... ya right. Dancing... more dancing... then singing... ah... Angelic voices... Sch over... ate at Mac...
Comex 2006 is held in Singapore Expo from the 31st August till the 3rd of Sep. The whole event takes up 3 halls!! The crowd was aplenty. This place is the paradise for electronics... MP3s, laptops, digital cameras, video cameras, TV sets, LCDs, Plasmas (HITACHI!!), printers, projectors and a whole lot more! Awesome place.
Ok... while touring around the place... a guy stopped us... and asked us to join in a competition - Play the Xbox 360.

Win LCD TV?? How awesome is that?? But it's playing a game i had never played before... so Mit, Liff and I took part(forced)... My friends unluckily got dumped out in the first round of the competition... and I... with beginners luck... got through to the semi-finals!! Woo-hoo!! A few steps closer to getting that LCD!! But... not for long... was knocked out straight away... haha... but i admit it was fun... although i felt that it was stupid at the start... And man... the Show Girls... er-hem i meant the erm amazing display of electronics... ya...
Ok... later went to Funan IT Mall... Mit had to collect his laptop... ate at Delifrance... (Henry in debt... owes creditor 50 cents!) sumptous food. Took bus 12 back.
Joakim out!! The World rejoices... but he's marketable la... he'll be popular in other areas like advertisments or even hosting. Good luck to him. Anyway... saw a man spitting in the bus... not once or twice... but 4 times!! Man... felt like bashing the guy up or make a scene there man... inconsiderate old man... ok yup... that was my day... *yawn*

A great learning experience to TP... the first presentation was about the IR. The location, names, cost and job oppotunities... so new courses were introduced like Leisure and Resort Management... which i find rather interesting.... that would be my 3rd choice or so.
I would really want to get into a business course... Diploma in Marketing... or the Business Course where i can slowly decide where i want to specialise in after 6 months. At the same time i would also love to go to NAFA... taking a course which has something to do with singing theory and stuff... but, it's $$$.
Ya anyway back to the trip... toured around the School of Engineering... watched a rather dizzy 3-D presentaion... drove a part of a car on a simulated road... awesome technology. Then when we all thought the Visit ended, we headed to the School of Business.
Presentation once again... with erm... 'cool' pictures... then toured again to various courses... Business IT... or BIT (all right?), visited the library (11 stories high!!)... then the Travel Agency, talking about Leisure and Resort, Culinary and Catering and Hospitality and Hotel Management. Then finally the Law and Management... yup.. cool place...
Oh the presentation was nerve racking... never presented like this before...

Woke up... went to sch.. had to show my POA draft to Teo.... then later attended the NPCC's POP or rather a surprise show for Seong. The singing and dancing were alright la... except 1 person.... haha...
So the 'concert' ended... and some of us, Dayah, Lisah, Min, Mit and me.... decided to go 'walk walk' at Bugis. Made preparations... then left in bus 12 for Bugis. i bought a Scorpions t-shirt... yea man!!
Toured Topshop/Topman and other shops... 'cool' stuffs there... ate dinner at Delifrance... first time dining there... ordered some set meal... not too bad la.
Later headed to Jason's house to watch the opening match Liverpool VS Sheffield United... which didn't turn out that well for The Reds... The Blades scored first with a freekick from the left... and an open header by Hulse sent the Blades leading by a goal. Closing down to the last 10 mins or so... a beautiful 1-2 pass by Gerrard and Fowler set up towards goal... but unfortunately was intentionally tripped by a defender... penalty to the Reds... Fowler took it cooly..
Final score: 1-1
The other matches are on... very surprising score line... the newly promoted teams are doing rather well.

So for the past few days... a lot of things happening in school... a lot of misunderstanding between students and teachers.... and Mdm Jamilah is like making a big fuss out of it... urgh...
