I was pretty anxious in playing host for today. My first friend came and we started playing some ps2 games first. Then slowly they came in groups of three... lunch was served then auntie and uncle came. Soon my house became a gambling den.
Haha... i didn't bet... that's my new year resolution not to gamble. People losing, people winning... and it was never the last game... haha. Then my uncle and aunt had to go... so it was dinner. Mum and i panicked for a while as there weren't enough rice... so it's like quickly prepare lor... and surprisingly... all the food's finish... except the chicken wings la...
People who rocked the house: Mit, Wil, Shan, Scia, Jay, Ding, ZH, Vien, Yu, Lion, Den and his brother.

Finally... Memoirs of a Geisha
The movie is about a girl growing up to be a Geisha... like duh. The word 'geisha' means 'artist'. A lady who sings, dances, plays an instrument and entertain men. This young girl, 'chiyo' her name, was sold to a geisha house, okiyo. She has eyes of rain.... just very innocent blue eyes.
She did something wrong... and was to work as a slave to pay her debts. Then someone 'bought' her and trained her. She then became the most desired lady. There was jealousy, hatred, anger rousing within the 'okiyo'... (i think it's okiya...) Then there's the bidding thing. The highest bidder will get her...
An OK show la... too bad they didn't show what happened to her sister... it became bored after the war...

Brazil Churrascaria. The Paradise of Meat. Located at sixth avenue... Bukit Timah there... around there la...
If you're a meat lover, Brazil Churrascaria is the place. They serve lots of meat... 15 types, that's what they said. From Beef (part) to Chicken to lamb.... Ham... chicken heart... garlic chicken... more types of beef... different part of the animal... there's also chicken liver. Oh.. and grilled pineapple... sweet.
I had never taken so much meat in a day in my entire life so far! Whew... i think i can even skip breakfast.. haha. The chefs will come out with a grill metal stick to your table, and tell what the meat is... So it's like they will come every 5 mins with different types of meat... sometimes making a repetition. You can't resist the smell and look of the luring meat. But seriously the meat there is super rich, tender meat... with the juice of the meat splashing all over your mouth when you bite it. Very nice. My family went there and boy how full we felt.
A piece of advice when you eat there: When there's buffet, take only the salad. Coz the meats are what you will gonna eat.

Avoidance is not going to solve anything...
Oo... the chem goggles looks very nice... so funky... but chem practical just sux that day... Yeo was pushing me like mad... 'hurry up hurry up' and 'common sense donovan'..... in my mind i was like 'shut up, gimme a break'.
Today... 3 tests!! Confident for two only... Got S.S test... source based... hope i score alright... then geog... tough one as well... wrote whatever i remember... don't expect myself to score well for that one... PHYSICS!! Urgh... difficult.

TP is an awesome place. Went there at about 2 plus... greeted by 'parrots'. Got a goodie bag (yipee) and went into Business School. Mit, Mi and me went for the intro of the Business School in the LT19... there was a presentation... a skit about other diplomas in this school. Then went for another skit, Media and Info one... their acting is way better then the Drama Club in our school... even the President of the Drama Club agreed. Went into the chat rooms... ate at the Biz canteen with Mit, Mi, Liff, Wil, Gan and friend, Jon... cheap man!! Like 2.60 for Fish N Chips...
Evening we went Fisherman's Village to celebrate Gan's birthday. *puff puff* just manage to get smoke in my mouth...

On the way walking back... i was stopped by a policeman... say they got to check me. So i went, sat by the stone chair under block. Started socialising with the policeman. They were asking me questions... so i just answered them... then i ask them what this was for...
'There had been a robbery last week... so we were patrolling...'
He started talking about chinese new year, asking where i was from, where i was schooling... yea... waste time...

Seong-Boy treated my class to BK today after sch at downtown east.
Reason: 25% got distinction last year for science.
So it's a cause for a celebration... Seong-Boy had to answer the deal we made last year.
So BK it was... most of our class people turn up... BK was filled with laughter... mostly from a single person la... then next destination: Pool
Almost half the class were in the pool area. Lol... a lot of other Greenvieweans as well... we played like close to 3 hours... and lucky for my TAPZ card... it cost only 24 bucks for two tables... :)
7 of us were left... let's see, Bri, Liff, Mit, Gan, Ding, Nesh and ME... yea we started playing the soccer thing... foos ball... i think that's what its called. Yea... then Home was next...

Today after school... went home change... and headed for Singapore Poly for the open house. Took like about 45 mins to get there. SP is a 'cool' place... and big.

It's a materialistic world la... like now... Singapore is encouraging people to have more children. And what they do?
Give you child bonus la, first baby get 2k la, so on and so forth. It's all about money. It's like paying you to have babies.... get it?

Ok.. i've gone back to reading and continuing the novel, that has 7 books, that i had ceased to continue last time due to preparation of the N level. So i'm now on the third book of the The Dark Tower. I got 5 of the books... been wanting the sixth... and waiting for the seventh to come out.
Oooo... reading is also another source of relaxing... got so many books to read man. REP passage... which i had finished reading.... then got the library one... MUST read thingy... then my own story book. I still have other books waiting in line...
Hee... hope i can finsh by the end of the year...

One word for being in Sec 5 : Tough
The gap between 'N' level and 'O' level sure is huge alright. I mean it's already the 2nd week and i'm feeling the pressure of work already... i feel the pressure coz i want to get good grades. Well of course there's no turning back now... the path most of us had chosen is obstacle-filled, one-way road. I gotta find ways to relax myself even more... hmm... i'm thinking of one now.
Hah... sit by the beach and let the cool breeze blow from the sea against my face.

Alright i had this strange dream for two nights. Two different dreams, but they end up at the same place, The Overhead Bridge.
First night.
Can't remember the beginning but my friend and i were running away from something, or someone. I had killed a person, entered some other person's house and killed someone again. A young man was chasing me. He was running like he's being whipped, with rage. I think i killed his kin or something. Can't really remember that part. Ran down a slope, saw an Overhead Bridge and climbed it. At the middle of the bridge my friend was in front of me, urging me to continue running. I looked to my right, there stood the young man that was chasing me. Then 'poof'.
Second night.
A short dream. I was walking along this wide path which i recognised, just a few blocks away from my house. 3 friends were with me. Right in front of this path stood the Overhead Bridge. I think i climbed it coz i dunno what happened next.
Ya... the second night was just last night... trying to make sense of it... haha... but i hadn't had a dream for a long time.
Oh... had diagnostic test today... hope i didn't write out of point...

Ok... manage to do most of the dreadful chinese homework... which i took like an hour to do, checking the meaning of 40 words!! Then in the morning during class i check with Ding, my china friend, and all my answers were different from him!! Argh.......
English period had to borrow books. So i borrowed this er... 'The Kidnapped of Suzie Q'. Well that was the thinest book i can find. Liff borrowed this storybook, 'Ah, the Mystery of Life' by Ronald Dahl, i think that's the title. It's full of action!! The climax is already on the 2nd page. Haha!! Cow and bull......... face the sun....
Social Studies period (last period). We were asking questions like,
'coz i'll exam papers were marked by cambridge, the papers were taken there by plane. So if anything happens to the plane, like crash or hijacked, then what will they do about it?'
Teacher:' if the plane crash, the insurance scheme call it the 'Act of God', or something like fated. Then we have to re-sit for the paper again. Why? You hoping the plane crash is it?'
Ya then after sch 'Act of God' became our common term used.
Got home... tired... slept from 3 till 7... woke up then ate pizza... yea... yummy.

The day's the same.. Miss Foo didn't come... should be sick bah. Then after school got choir. We were all thinking whether we should go or not. In the end we did la. Just sat down there... coz we didn't know any songs. Will be doing 4 songs for the Sec 1 CCA Orientation on next Fri. I so don't wanna perform........
Anyway Dad manage to exhange to another game. Conflict Vietnam. Yea... cool game. It's a first or third person shooter game. So it's like you can see the person you are controlling or look from his eyes. Graphics are good, just what i wanted... thanx Dad!!

Ok... my class assemble in the quadrangle, seated near the canteen. So it's like first to go thing... more time to slack... Teo started his crap again... forever the same... Oh the whole gang is back again. Talking and joking. Commitee was choosen... almost all same people. Then change of period.
English was Miss Pillay... haiy... the rest all the same... First homewok of the day!! It had to be given by Henry Low... damn... Then life skills just doing our target sheet. Oh chinese... Foo didn't belive i got a 4 for Chinese... lol... then we had to do some swearing on a sheet of paper.

Right... the New Year's here.... 'change la'.... that's the two words my mum had been telling me since yesterday........ well my sis created a new blog, go check that out.
So i made new spectacles... classy i guess... collecting on fri... altered my pants, dunno for what... cut my hair.......... still look the same la. I had new bag... maybe using... and i'll wear the shoe i bought last Sep... ya should be ready for school... haiy...
Resolution:
1. 15 points for O level... sounds tough but... 15 pts is what i'm aiming.
That will be all... for now... didn't do much thinking...
