Today's lunch at home was 'expensive'. Had Abalone, Clamps, Tiger Prawns and 'Budda jump over the wall'. Nice...
Afternoon... met friends at Pasir Ris interchange and took 88 to Sengkang. We were going to Miss Foo's house to pay a visit... coz CNY mah. There were 15 of us at her house... haha... let's see if i remember all...
Brina, Cerise, Yu, Viv, Ah Qi, Scia and her friend, Shan, Ya Li, Dennis and bro, Wil, Yi Quang, JJ, Lion oh and me... hmm... there were 16 of us...
Played mahjong and some others played blackjack. Manage to win only 1 game in mahjong... then i had to leave for Chingay... Geog project...
Chingay: Parade of Dreams
Chingay is an awesome parade... showcasing different cultures. It's my first time seeing the parade, and man, was i excited. The thing we came to Orchard.... was to eat.
Fiq and his friend, Aminul, Zam, Ah Neh, Mi and gal and gal's friend, Man and gal and me.
After dinner... we tried for a good view on the second floor of Lucky Plaza... but ain't that lucky enough in Lucky Plaza... It's filled with people already... so we headed down. We poured the pavements... letting our shrills of excitement being heard... it hasn't start yet... it was already 7 plus... we carried on walking... and we found the starting point and S.R. Nathan there... being the GOH...
The parade started off with fireworks. A blast which scared the shit out of us. Some of the parts ricochet and came slamming down on my friend... one missed my right eye by a centimeter! There wasn't much safety issue there man... Video-taking and cameras snapped away... the parade started at a high morale. And that morale never seemed to fall... it just keeps getting better. Dancers filled the street... some on floats... giving a 'Queen Elizabeth' wave... some beat drums... others... just ran. Tired to tell every detail... but there was a party going on after the parade... it was just awesome... people crowded around and some of them went into the middle and do break-dancing. That's like totally amazing. I left early with some friends... wasn't that crowded in the MRT...
The Video is awesome... hope my Geog project will go well.
